Our attention to detail and technical proficiency is what makes our instruction better than the average. We take the fitness piece so much further than most gyms by providing the latest, and most up to date weightlifting techniques, accessories lifts, nutritional advice, and wellness information. As our Head Coach Mike advances his trade it affects all our coaches in return delivering excellence to our clients! There is a huge different between training by yourself, following an exercise prescription, watching the videos of exercising, and what we have to offer as Crossfit Coaches. Coach Mike recently mention mastering percentages of your 1RM like the 60-90% range and gaining strength at a comp training session. Funny he bought that up but the great 2013 American Open Champion-Spencer Arnold wrote an article about it yesterday. Click here for article…The only way to create good habits is to complete good reps over and over and over again. Technical error and specifically bad habits are not fixed nor beaten out of your motor pathways at heavyweight. Sometimes we are unwilling to drop the weight, lower the percentage, and do work at a weight the does not feel very heavy. Our ego often times inhibits our progress.
Cheers to learning and continuous GROWTH!
