Our Daily CrossFit classes represent the core of our programming at CrossFit Goldsboro. You need to complete the CrossFit Intro/foundations classes or join as an experienced CrossFitter to attend these classes. They are specifically designed to include ample time for a warm-up, instruction, and a workout. These classes are universally scalable for all levels. Typical classes are structured as follows:
Warm-up: Includes dynamic stretching and mobility
Skill/Strength: Includes basic strength training or instruction and practice in skilled movements. Focus is on developing baseline strength and technical ability.
Workout of the Day (WOD): Includes a mixture of metabolic conditioning, gymnastics, plyometrics, and weightlifting performed at high intensity (relative to the individual).
Cool-down/After Party: Additional Strength or Core work and also recommendations for mobility and static stretching will be given.
The Skill/Strength and WODs will vary each day depending on the target energy system and muscle group. This type of programming allows for a wide and constantly varied stimulus.
